The Computing Sciences Area Awards committee supports the recognition of our scientists, engineers, and staff by identifying award opportunities and supporting applications.

Specifically, the committee:

• Identifies award and prize opportunities and updates them periodically on the awards website.
• Helps identify and recommend nominations by generating awareness of opportunities.
• Facilitates submissions by coordinating or providing direct support (letters of recommendation, for example).
• Coordinates submissions across the area to identify potential conflicts.
• Tracks and reports on nominations and successful awards across the CS Area.
