RAGE Rolls Out in Denver

Berkeley Lab Receives Multi-Million-Dollar Funding to Develop New Computational Tools for Advancing Scientific Research
Scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will help lead the development of a new generation of tools and technologies for scientific computing under a new $57 million program announced today (August 14) by the DOE. An internship program in desktop support offered by the Computer Infrastructure Support Department is literally drawing students from all walks of life. George Eaton’s career path led him to a long stint in restaurant management before he made it to the Lab.
